In this Free Talk, Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong will explain how we can take control of our life by transforming life’s adversities into positive, enriching experiences. She will explain how we can use practical Buddhist wisdom to gain the confidence and strength that frees us from fear.
Gen-la Dekyong is a Kadampa Buddhist nun who is an internationally renowned meditation teacher. She has devoted her life to helping others and has a deep understanding of the problems we face in this modern world. Her teachings show how we can solve these problems by developing the capacity of our mind through meditation and other spiritual practices.
Due to the popularity of the event Gen-la has kindly agreed to give the talk at 1pm and then again at 4pm so that the maximum number of people can attend. Early booking is advised. Register in advance online, by phone or by posting this form to Heruka Kadampa Meditation Centre (KMC). You can also turn up on the day. Everyone is welcome.

From the platform at King’s Cross follow the signs for “Euston Road” and once through the ticket barriers, turn left at the main tube ticket office. Head for the “Euston Road (South side)” exit and turn right up the stairs. Directions from St Pancras overground
From St Pancras, take signs to King’s Cross underground. Once you are outside, instead of crossing over to the tube station, take a right to Euston Road. Once at the traffic lights, cross over Euston Road and turn right. Turn left at the sign on your left after the library and the venue is just around the corner to your right.
