The Confidence to Change

Southern Dharma Celebration 2017 with Kadam Bridget Heyes

Southern Dharma Celebration 2017

Fri 24 Feb to Sun 26 Feb   |   Camden Centre, King's Cross

What is the event about?

We all suffer from time to time from a lack of self-confidence and often identify strongly with our limitations. During this special event learn powerful methods derived from Buddha’s teachings, to develop an authentic sense of self-confidence, overcome habitual negativity and come to identify with your pure potential.

What will it consist of?

The weekend will consist of a combination of teachings, guided meditations and empowerments, providing a multi-faceted approach to the development of true confidence. The highlight of the event is on Saturday when Kadam Bridget will grant the empowerment of Buddha Vajrapani who embodies the spiritual power of all Buddhas and helps living beings to overcome their obstacles. By receiving this empowerment we draw close to this enlightened being and awaken within us our own potential to become just like him.

About the Celebration

Dharma means protection and refers to both Buddha’s teachings and the inner realizations of them that permanently protect us from suffering. The Southern Dharma Celebration is open to everyone and also provides an opportunity for members of Kadampa Buddhist centres within the south of England to come together, receive special teachings, volunteer and create a weekend of inspiration for all.
