Heruka Centre is the main north London Buddhist centre of the New Kadampa Tradition, located close to Golders Green tube and bus station. Its purpose is to offer people throughout London the opportunity to learn about meditation and the practices of Kadampa Buddhism.Meditation classesWe offer weekly meditation classes at the Centre and at over 25 other venues in and around London. The classes are suitable for everyone, from complete beginners to experienced meditators.Courses & RetreatsHeruka Centre also provides meditation day courses at the Centre and weekend retreats away from London. The courses and retreats are suitable for everyone, including people with no experience of meditation and experienced meditators.Study & practiceThe Centre also offers Buddhist retreats, study programmes and daily pujas or chanted prayers. These provide an opportunity to deepen our understanding and experience of Buddhism through systematic study of texts written by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.Heruka Centre is open to everyone to enjoy the meditation room, bookshop and garden, or to relax over a cup of tea.
