Restoring Life's Balance - Sat 22 June

Shantideva About this course
Subdue distractions, discover a deep sense of peace
with Resident Teacher Kadam John McBretney
Through the practice of meditation it is possible to experience inner peace and contentment just by controlling the mind, without having to depend at all upon external conditions. In his book Transform Your Life Geshe Kelsang says "When the turbulence of distracting thoughts subsides and our mind becomes still, a deep happiness and contentment naturally arises from within. This feeling of contentment and well-being helps us to cope with the busyness and difficulties of daily life." On this course, John will explain how we can discover a purer and longer lasting type of happiness and restore life's balance through developing a peaceful, controlled and balanced mind. Everyone welcome.
