What to expect at a meditation class

About the classes

The meditation classes are suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators. Everyone is welcome.

Most classes run for an hour and a half. We meditate sitting on chairs to ensure that everyone is comfortable. There is no physical exercise involved and no need to wear any special clothing.

  • A short Buddhist prayer to prepare for meditation
  • A simple guided meditation
  • A teaching on how to solve problems in daily life
  • Another meditation or questions & answers
  • After the session everyone is welcome to stay and discuss the class over a cup of tea

Attending the class

The classes are organized as short courses, usually 3, 4 or 5 weeks long. You can attend the whole course or simply drop in whenever you can as each class is self-contained, or you can just come along to try a session.
