MEDITATION AND MINDFULNESS CLASSES, AT CHARLTON HOUSE. Brand new classes in South East London and surrounds At Charlton House, Charlton Road, London SE7 8RE

Our two mindfulness and meditation classes at Charlton House have proved such a success that we have made the decision to continue them. Therefore we will be organising three more weekly Thursday classes which will begin on Thursday 30th November.

Week 1
A New Approach to Happiness
Gaining the experience of peace through the art of meditation

Week 2
Reducing Anxiety
A practical use of meditation to calm and soothe the mind

Week 3
A Mind of Comfort and Joy
Meditations to de-stress - just in time for the festive season

Kelsang Deden a Buddhist nun will be taking the classes. Deden is an experienced teacher having first trained under the tutelage of her resident teacher, Kadam John McBretney. She then engaged in formal advanced training on the Special Teachers Trainer Course at our Central Temple in the Lake District. Over the next 3 weeks Deden will acquaint you with practical meditations you can use to strengthen and nourish the mind and interact positively with others.

We intend to carry on teaching these classes on an ongoing basis in the New Year and the regular teacher for Greenwich, Kelsang Lekmon will return to teach them.

In the meantime, we hope to see you there; you can also follow us on our Meditate in Greenwich Facebook page or check out our website. This way you’ll have access to our upcoming videos, and up to date information on classes.
