Learn to meditate
A half-day course on the basics of meditation
Date: Sat 27 June, 10am-1pm followed by lunch
Venue: Heruka Centre, Golders Green
An excellent introduction to meditation. On this half-day course we will have the opportunity to practice some simple yet effective meditations techniques. We will also receive helpful advice on how to improve our experience of happiness and solve our daily problems. Everyone is welcome.

Training the mind to be happy
Weekly meditation classes around London
Date: Mondays to Thursdays
Choose from 24 London meditation venues
The meditation classes in July will present special teachings and meditations on training the mind to be happy. In these weekly classes we will learn how, through developing and maintaining a special view of others, we can transform our daily experience and improve our relationships.
The teachings and meditations will be based on Geshe Kelsang Gyatso's bestselling book Transform Your Life.

Basics of Buddhism
How to be stress-free and stay happy
Date: Sat 18 July, 10am-4pm including lunch
Venue: Heruka Centre, Golders Green
Buddha taught how to examine our mind and see which states produce misery and confusion, and which states produce health and happiness. On this course we will learn how to overcome the compulsively negative minds that confine us to states of discontent and misery, and how to cultivate positive minds that liberate us from pain and lead us to the experience of permanent inner peace. Everyone is welcome.

NKT Summer Festival in the Lake District
With teachings and meditations from
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Dates: Fri 24 July - Sat 8 Aug
Venue: Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre, Lake District
The NKT Summer Festival is a special opportunity to receive spiritual advice directly from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the Spritiual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition. He will grant the empowerments of Dorje Shugden, Heruka and Vajrayogini, and give teachings on Lamrim, the stages of the path to enlightenment. Everyone is welcome.
